Story Behind The Song
How To Become A
Whosoever
| |
 | HOW TO BECOME
A "WHOSOEVER"... |
A "whosoever" according to John 3:16 is one who
accepts Jesus Christ, God's only Son, as their Savior and becomes a Child of God or a
Christian, a Follower of Chrsit!
If you would like to have a personal relationship with
Jesus Christ, please take the time to read the following.
 | Know that God loves you and wants a relationship with you.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" .
(John 3:16) |
 | |
 | Because we are sinners, we are separated from God.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God".
(Romans 3:23) |
 | |
 | Chrsit's death and resurrection was for us, to pay for our
sins. "But God demonstrated His love toward us, in that while
we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8) |
 | |
 | We come to know God by accepting Christ's payment on the
cross for our sins. "For by grace we are saved through faith, and
that not of ourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should
boast." (Ephesians 2:8) |
 | |
 | Eternal Life instead of Etermal Death depends on finding
protection, refuge, and redemption through the sed blood of Jesus Chrsit. "Whoever
calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Acts
2:21) |
 | |
 | Believing in the Name of God's only Son Jesus Christ, and
receiving Him as Savior and Lord brings Eternal Life.. "But as
many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who
belive in His name." (John 1:12) |
You can invite Christ into your life by simply asking. The
following is a simple suggested prayer:
 | "Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank you for dying on
the cross for my sins. I open the door of my heart and by faith I ask You to
forgive me of my sins and come into my life, change me from the inside out and cleanse
me. Thank you for your forgiveness as You come into my heart. Amen." |
If you made that commitment to Christ, we would encourage you to:
 | Let someone know of your new found relationship with Christ
by telling someone. "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I
will also confess before My Father who is in heaven, But whoever denies Me before
men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven." (Matthew
10:32-33) This can be done in different ways, we'd enjoy hearing
from you either by mail or through our e-mail address:
rod@thomasfamilyministries.com ... or share it with a
friend or family member, and /or share it with a local pastor of a local church. |
 | |
 | Begin to read God's Word. "Study
to show thyself approved, a workman that needth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the
word of truth." (II Timothy 2:15)
We'd encourage you to start with the book of St. John as you study. |
 | |
 | Begin seeking the Lord's guidance and strength through
daily prayer. "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show
you great and mighty things, which you knowest not." (Jeremiah
33:3) "The righteous cry, the Lord heareth,
and delivereth them out of all their troubles." (Psalm
34:17) "Casting all your cares upon Him for He
cares for you." (I Peter 5:7)
|
 | |
 | Get involved in a local Bible-believing and preaching
church. "Forsake not the assembling of ourselves together, as
is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day
approaching." (Hebrews 10:25) |
May the Lord richly bless you on your new found journey to
"everlasting life" as a Child of God, a Christian .... if you would, a
"whosoever".
If you already know Christ, but you have not made Him first
priority in your life, take a minute to pray right now and rededicate your life to
Him. God bless you in your life in Christ!
 | The Word of God, the Bible, gives the christian directions
for daily living, for it says: "Trust in the Lord with all your
heart and lean not on thine own understanding; in all thy ways acknowledge Him and He
shall direct thy paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6) |
May you have a wonderful Day...
and a long Eternity with Jesus! ~Rod & Barb
